UMD Taiwanese Student Association (UMDTSA) and Taiwanese American Student
Association (TASA) are happy to introduce the 2nd Annual Taiwanese Movie
Festival! The movie is called "7 Days in Heaven," and tells the story of a
woman returning to a farming village in central Taiwan within seven days of
her father’s death. Upon her return, she experiences the trite and minute
complications that are the Taiwanese funeral ritual traditions, and amidst
the busy schedule of religious ceremonial practice, grief and mourning only
find time to appear in sporadic moments.
