Student Summer Help Needed: Field Research Technicians
The Raupp and Shrewsbury Entomology Labs are seeking students to work 30 - 40 hours/week this summer as field research technicians on projects involving the ecology and management of invasive insect pests. You must enjoy working outdoors under varying environmental conditions, and be able to perform physically challenging work. We are looking for individuals who are organized, responsible, dependable, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Qualifications: must be a UMD student and have a valid driver’s license. Lab or field experience, coursework, and/or an interest in insects and plants are desirable.
