College Preparation Workshop Series
Dear Undergraduates,

The College of Computer, Mathematical, and Natural Sciences (CMNS) will be hosting our annual College Preparation Workshop Series.
The College Preparation Workshop Series (CPWS) is a week long program held in August that provides information about the college application process as well as exposes students to the CMNS disciplines. Participants attend workshops on the college application process, writing application essays, financial aid and SAT test preparation, as well as take part in science and math team-based projects, demonstrations, and laboratory tours.
CMNS is looking for student workers to assist us with the College Preparation Workshop Series throughout the week. It is a paid opportunity, where student workers will receive $7.50 per hour.
The College Preparation Workshop Series will occur Monday, August 1st - Friday, August 5th on campus from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Duties would include:

*   Registration for participants each morning
*   Escorting participants on campus/ lab tours and various buildings for workshops/activities
*   Assisting participants with science and engineering projects
*   Set-up and breakdown for registration table and luncheons

Again, student workers will receive a monetary stipend and lunch for the days you volunteer.  Ideally, volunteers typically serve for either the morning (8am-12pm) or afternoon (12pm-4pm) shift or both.
