Calling all volunteers!
Cherry Hill Park needs your help! Alpha Phi Omega - a national co-ed service fraternity - is organizing a large-scale invasive plant removal in the park and your help would be greatly appreciated. Volunteers will be ridding the park of invasive plant species at the direction of Dr. Mark Imlay, conservation biologist with the PG Parks Dept., in order to preserve its natural ecosystem.
The event will take place Oct. 1, 12pm-3pm, at 9800 Cherry Hill Road, College Park, MD 20740
APO is proud to have the support of the Department of Biology in their efforts. All volunteers are welcome! Please contact Barbara Rodriguez at <mailto:[log in to unmask]> [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> with questions or concerns.
