Hey,

My name is Dan and I'm the campus organizer with MaryPIRG. MaryPIRG is a
student-directed, student-funded advocacy group at UMD working to solve
real social problems. We offer internships and volunteer opportunities to
students who are interested in learning grassroots organizing skills while
working with a professional staff of organizers and advocates.

Currently we are working to:
-Register 2500 students to vote in the Presidential Election
-Fight Poverty and Homelessness
-Stop Fracking from coming to Maryland

If you want to learn more about getting involved, come to our Kickoff
Meeting Thursday, Sept. 20th at 7pm in 2309 of the Art Sociology Building.
Free food will also be provided!
