Several undergraduates and faculty members are starting a robotics
mentoring program for local high school students. The program will guide
and support a new FIRST Robotics team comprised of local high school
students as they design, build, and test their robot in this highly
competitive national competition.
This represents a great opportunity for students who are interested in
mentoring or need to complete a service learning program. The program will
take place on campus at Centerville Hall, on Tuesday and Thursday evenings
as well as Saturday.
While the program itself is based on robotics, all students are welcome to
join, regardless of experience or major. Additionally, we are looking for
students who are interested in leadership positions for aspects such as
finance and organization/management.
Any students interested should email [log in to unmask]
