Like to sing? Come audition for Kol Sasson, UMD's Premier Jewish A Cappella
Group! Join us in our very exciting 15th Anniversary Year and become part
of a crazy, quirky, loud family of people who LOVE to sing. This semester
we're taking boys only (sorry ladies, we'd love to see you next semester!),
so if you're a bass, a tenor, a beatboxer, or all of the above, be sure to
come check us out! Kol Sasson has brought rich and diverse music to both
the local and national communities for many years. Founded in 1997, Kol
Sasson has recorded five professional CDs, traveled and sung for
communities across the country, placed second in the first national Jewish
a cappella competition, and performed at a variety of government events
such as the 2008 White House Hanukkah Reception for President Obama.
Auditions for the spring semester will be Tuesday January 31st at 7pm and
Wednesday February 1st at 7:30pm in the CSPAC Music Wing. All you have to
bring is yourself, along with a verse and a chorus of a song that showcases
