Be a Science Fair Judge

Greetings! My name is Justin Leonard and I am the Science Fair co-coordinator for Nicholas Orem Middle School. On Tuesday, February 7, 2012 we will host our school-based Science Fair in the media center from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Our Science Fair will be composed of the winners from the classroom-based Science Fair where our teachers judge the projects. At the school Science Fair, teachers, scientists, mathematicians, and other community members will be judging the Science Fair projects according to the Intel Science Fair criterion. The winners of our Science Fair will move on to the Prince George’s Area Science Fair which will be held in March 2012.

I am respectfully requesting assistance in the form of judge for our Science Fair on Tuesday, February 7, 2012. The judging will take place from 10:00am to 5:00 pm in our media center. The judges do not have to stay the entire time; they are welcome to come to our school and judge some projects. The judges can be faculty, students, and staff members from the College of Computer, Mathematical, and Natural Sciences.

If you have any questions regarding this matter, or if you have people wishing to assist us, please do not hesitate to contact me via e-mail at [log in to unmask] or via phone at 301-853-0840. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Respectfully,
Mr. Justin W. Leonard
