UMD's American Medical Student Association (AMSA) is holding two
cancer awareness events this week.

***Thursday 11/29 6:30pm Grand Ballroom Lounge in Stamp***
We are hosting a "50/50" Film Screening. Come see 50/50 staring Joseph
Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen as best friends whose lives are changed
by a cancer diagnosis. This is a free event.

***Friday 11/30 8-10am Grand Ballroom Lounge in Stamp***
Learn about lung cancer: the leading cause of cancer death in the US
for both men and women, and the most under-funded. Learn about the
Lung Cancer Mortality Reduction Act and make a difference by
contacting Congress. Tobacco use accounts for over 80% of lung cancer
deaths. Learn about UMD's smoking ban, and take a survey about it.
