POSITION: Research Technician
 
DEPARTMENT:  Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: A full-time Research technician position is available
at the University of Maryland, College Park, MD, to study the viral-host
interactions.  The position will require maintaining an active research
project including experimentation, data analysis, working with infectious
material under BSL3 containment, animal care and handling, and other
duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator.
 
QUALIFICATIONS: Interested applicants should have a minimum of a
Bachelor¹s degree and three years of relevant laboratory experience is
required.  A background in molecular virology, experience using animal
models, tissue culture and previous BSL3 experience is preferred.
