African Conservation Experience organise placements at conservation
projects in southern Africa for students from all over the world. We are
the most experienced organisation in our field, having been in operation
for over ten years.
The projects vary in their focus from wildlife rehabilitation to
veterinary work, field research  and marine conservation. Students can
join these projects for a duration of 2-12 weeks during which time they
will work alongside experienced experienced vets, researchers and
conservationists. The students' involvement varies at each project. In
general, work undertaken by participants may cover some of the following:

* Baseline ecology studies in national parks and reserves
* Monitoring animal behaviour and populations
* Animal care in wildlife rehabilitation centres
* Dolphin, whale, seal and turtle population studies
* Wildlife veterinary work experience alongside experienced vets
* Game ranger and wildlife tracking courses

I would be grateful if you could consider these programs as internship
options, and distribute this information to interested students and

would offer particularly relevant opportunities to gain field research
experience.
