The Center for Mathematics Education in the College of Education and the Mathematics Department
are now offering competitive scholarships to mathematics/mathematics education majors.
Funded by the National Science Foundation, the UM Noyce Scholars Program will support talented
UM students who are committed to teaching mathematics in high needs middle and/or high schools.
UM Noyce Scholars will receive $14,000 in support for tuition costs and expenses per academic year.
The first cohort of UM Noyce Scholars will be selected in the Spring of 2012, with scholarships
awarded for the 2012-2013 academic year. More information can be found at
