INTERESTED IN THE HEALTH PROFESSIONS?
 
The Health Professions Advising Office will be hosting their annual Health Professions School Recruitment Fair with over 50 professional schools being represented from Medical/Dental/Allied Health (Dental Hygiene, Nursing, Pharmacy, Physician Assistant, and Physical Therapy), Post-bacc programs, Public Health, and many more.
 
Who: All students interested in applying and attending a Health Professional School
When: Wednesday, April 21, 2012
Time: 3:00-6:00pm
Where: Grand Ballroom, Stamp Student Union
 
 
Also, we will be hosting an MD-PhD breakout session for all students interested in this career path.  The following are the details.

Description: This session provides information for students considering pursuit of the MD-PhD degree pathway of the Physician Scientist. The goal of the session is to demystify the MD-PhD pathway and provide insight for pursuing the dual-degree.  A short presentation will describe features of MD-PhD training, alumni careers, and detailed logistics of the application process. After the presentation, a panel of seasoned MD-PhD Program Directors and Administrators will address questions from the audience and be available for one-on-one interactions.  This session is organized by the Communication Committee for MD-PhD Programs of the GREAT Group of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC).
