You are cordially invited to the 5th Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium in the Biological Sciences
at William Paterson University
Saturday, April 16th, 2011

This event provides an excellent forum for presentation of research findings by undergraduate students enrolled in colleges and universities in the Mid-Atlantic area. 

The format of this year’s meeting will include morning and afternoon poster sessions, a keynote address by Dr. Nikiforos Kollias, Distinguished Research Fellow, Johnson and  Johnson Consumer Products, New Jersey;  lunch, and an awards ceremony. Posters will be judged by a panel of attending mentors and 1st and 2ndplace awards will be presented to the top undergraduate poster presenters in the following  categories: Biochemistry, Physiology, Cell & Molecular Biology, Genetics,  Ecology & Evolution, Nano Chemistry, General Chemistry and Materials Chemistry . In addition, three names will be drawn from the 1st place awards to receive a gift at the conclusion of the awards ceremony.

Participant abstracts will be published in Symposium Proceedings.
