*1.      **HIV/AIDS, Heart2Hand Success! *

Just wanted to thank everyone who helped out with our HIV/AIDS Heart2Hand
Awareness/Fundraiser event Friday, it was a great success! Here is a nice

*2.      **Cookies & Condoms: Don’t Stress about HIV! Tomorrow 4/12*

*WHEN*: Tomorrow, Thurs 4/12, 11am-4pm
*WHERE*: McKeldin Mall

This event is to advertise the *free, rapid HIV testing** going on in the
**Health Center on next Thursday, 4/19*.  Students can go to the Health
Center, get tested,
and get their *results on the same day*.  Our event will take place at a
table on the mall and will *give away bags which contain flyers about the
**HIV testing, info and statistics about HIV/AIDS, condoms, and
cookies!* We hope to see everyone there!


*3.     **HIV/AIDS Panel of Experts!*

*WHEN*: Tuesday, 4/17, 7-8pm
*WHERE*: PG Room in Stamp

Come learn about different perspective on HIV/AIDS from a *panel of
experts*in the field! This issue has immense regional and
international importance
and with the biennial *International* *AIDS Conference being held in
Washington DC this summer*, the time to get involved is now!

Speakers include:
*Dr. Gregory Pappas* - Senior Deputy Director of the DC Department of
Health’s HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, STD, and TB Administration

*Guy Weston* - Executive Director of DC Care, providing support to people
living with HIV/AIDS and their families and working with service providers
to enhance the delivery and quality of HIV/AIDS services in Washington, DC

*Dr. Joseph Fortunak *- medical researcher from Washington DC working with
HIV/AIDS

*Dr. Enyinnaya Merengwa* - Public Health Physician & Clinical
Epidemiologist. Has received training in Nigeria, Minnesota, and Baltimore.
Currently a Doctor of Public Health(DrPH) degree candidate.
