The purpose of the Complementary and Alternative Medical (CAM) Club at the
University of Maryland aims to increase the knowledge of the diverse
medicinal practices encompassed by the terms Complementary and Alternative
Medicine (CAM) in order to promote health and wellness on campus and share
educational material in the form of seminars, classes, or workshops all in
order to encourage healing and combat stress.

Did you know your heart emits electromagnetic fields that change according
to your emotions?
Research shows that emotional information is encoded in this
electromagnetic field and that positive emotions have a beneficial effect
on our own health and well being, and can have a positive affect on those
around us.
