YACS (Young Adult Cancer Support) at Maryland is proud to present a screening of "Wrong Way to Hope", a film that follows a group of cancer survivors as they go through "adventure recovery" down Oregon's Owyhee River. This inspiring film is a rare insight into the lives of one of the most underrepresented groups - young adult cancer survivors.

Before the filming, Brina Furman will be sharing her personal cancer story with us.

We will also be having a bake sale at the theater to raise money for this summer's 4K for Cancer, a cross-country bike ride in support of the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults.

Though the film screening is free, donations toward the 4K for Cancer will be accepted.
