The Young Scholars Discovery Program is seeking an undergraduate teaching
assistant to help teach a program in Forensic Science for middle school
students. The program focuses on the biology, chemistry, and physics
underlying crime scene investigation. The program runs 9:00 AM ­ 12:30 PM
Monday-Friday from July 15 through July 26. Some prep time during the
weeks leading up to the program will also be required (although the
specific days and times are flexible). The pay is $700.

Applicants must be current undergraduate students at the University of
Maryland majoring in a science discipline. Previous experience teaching or
working with children is helpful but not required. Interested students
