The massive rainfall and flooding in the state of Uttarakhand, India between
June 16-18, 2013 has caused widespread death and destruction. Over 10,000
are feared dead by the estimates of National Disaster Management Authority
in India and thousands

Weeks after the tragedy, the full picture of death and destruction is still
slowly emerging.

the University of Maryland College Park on July 27th from 1 PM to 3 PM* for
a concert of the best dancers and musicians in the DC Metropolitan area to
benefit victims of the disaster in Uttarakhand! Featured acts include the
nationally ranked Bollywood Fusion troupe UMD "Dhoom", the South Asian a
cappella group Anokha, reknown vocalist Shubhashish Mukherjee, a disciple
