Paid on campus internships are available with AE Zymetis (parented by AE
Biofuels) to help develop microbial products involved in the conversion of
cellulosic materials to alternative hydrocarbon fuels. Interns are needed
weeknights and weekends to assist in large scale pilot fermentations for
approximately 10 h per week. Strong microbiology skills are necessary. We
are located on the University of Maryland campus in the TAP Building (Bldg
387) near the Comcast Center. Academic credit is possible through an
independent study with Dr. Hutcheson in CBMG. Applicants should have
Junior/Senior status and be majoring in a field related to microbiology or
