Opportunities for Science Minorities at Georgia Tech

We are actively recruiting underrepresented minority JUNIOR and SENIOR
Biology majors for our upcoming FOCUS program at Georgia Tech
(www.focus.gatech.edu <http://www.focus.gatech.edu/>). FOCUS is a three
day (begins Thursday evening) recruitment program that encourages students
to consider graduate school. Students will visit labs, talk to faculty and
students, and attend workshops on (i) graduate school funding, (ii) the
admissions process, and (iii) finding success in graduate school.
The FOCUS Program takes place at Georgia Tech in Atlanta on January 17-20,
2013. All conference participation costs (hotel, food and registration)
will be covered. In addition, a transportation allowance will be provided.

THE ON-LINE APPLICATION DEADLINE IS DECEMBER 2ND. HOWEVER, BECAUSE THERE
ARE LIMITED SLOTS -- WE ENCOURAGE STUDENTS TO APPLY IMMEDIATELY.
Interested students should navigate to the FOCUS program website
(www.focus.gatech.edu <http://www.focus.gatech.edu/>) and apply
immediately.
Students can also contact our FOCUS coordinator directly at
[log in to unmask], or 404-894-8163.
