We are a small research and consulting firm composed of life scientists and engineers who apply rigorous scientific analysis to problems of homeland security and global health. Our areas of expertise include ensuring public safety and homeland security as the incidence of terrorism rises, emerging infectious diseases, aiding in the design of sound scientific policy, and humanitarian assistance missions and disaster relief.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review professional journals and publications to extract and summarize information relevant to assigned research projects using internet-based search techniques. 
Draft report sections and charts for review by mid-level staff members. 
Apply specialized quantitative and/or qualitative analysis techniques and methods. 
Conduct interviews to gather primary data. 
Participate in proposal preparation by compiling data needed to support proposal and assemble portions of the final document. 
May attend professional and client meetings with senior staff.

REQUIRED: 
Bachelor’s degree in Biology or Biochemistry
U.S. Citizenship (required)
Ability to work independently 
Excellent writing skills 
GPA greater than 3.0 (out of 4.0) 
Willingness to relocate to the greater Washington area.
