JOB OPENING  - ENERGY CAMPAIGN COORDINATOR WITH THE MD SIERRA CLUB

The Sierra Club, Maryland Chapter is looking for somebody with a green fire
in their belly to collaborate and coordinate the Club's Beyond Coal Campaign
(beyondcoal.org) activities.

This exciting position will support the growing movement to clean up or
retire Maryland's oldest dirtiest coal fired power plants and promote the
growth of renewable energy in Maryland to take its place.

You'll need to have the proved ability to interact with media and government
officials and work across a wide spectrum of allies to sway policy and public
opinion, along with high-level campaign management.

While you certainly don't need to have come from inside the "green" movement,
a track record of strong leadership and campaign management for social and
political change are persuasive indicators of your potential for success as
our Beyond Coal Campaign and Policy Representative-Maryland Chapter.
