Learn how social entrepreneurship can bring lasting improvements to
peopleıs lives. Gain unmatched work experience alongside some of the
worldıs most innovative development professionals while studying Spanish
and working with community activists to develop and support
micro-consignment businesses. Use your learning, energy, and insight to
help make lasting improvements in local communities. The course will begin
on the UMD campus with a two-week course on the principles of social
entrepreneurship followed by eight weeks of supervised field work in
Nicaragua.
