Subject: 2015 Code for Community Challenge III

Description:
The 2015 Code for Community Challenge III is a competition to create a mobile
or web based app that meets a community need.  A mobile app is a software
application that runs in a smartphone, tablet or other portable device. A web
based app is a software application that is usable only with an active
Internet connection.  The Challenge is limited to teams of 2 to 5 students
enrolled at the University of Maryland, College Park such that the majority
are undergraduate students, i.e. graduate students are also welcomed to
participate. The competition has the following goals:
1.    address the challenges facing communities
2.    help community based organizations do a better job
3.    empower residents to help themselves
4.    leverage technology as a tool to improve quality of life in
neighborhoods
