Subject: Noyce Scholarship
Description:
Applications for the 2014-2015 Noyce scholarship are now open! Earn $14,000
per year while you are pursuing certification to become a math or science
middle or high school teacher. More information and application materials
can be found on the Noyce website (bit.ly/umdnoyce), but general criteria for
scholarship applicants are as follows:
Have a current GPA of at least 2.75.
Be a U.S. citizen, national or permanent resident alien.
Be a UMD sophomore or junior who will be a mathematics or science major
enrolled in the undergraduate secondary mathematics or science education
program in the 2014-2015 academic year OR a UMD junior or senior who will be
enrolled in the fourth or fifth year of the integrated bachelors/masters
secondary mathematics or science education program in the 2014-2015 academic
year.
The deadline for completed applications is Sunday, December 8, 2013. There
will be another round of applications in the spring. If you have any
