Speaker: Dr. Kamillah Wood, M.D., M.P.H.
Location: Stamp Student Union, Margaret Brent Room (Room 2112)
Time: Sunday, November 17th, 1-3PM
Delta Epsilon Mu Pre-Health Fraternity is hosting a speaker! We have an incredible physician coming to share her experiences with us and the larger pre-health community! Dr. Kamillah Wood is a graduate of Howard (undergraduate), GW (medical school), and Harvard (Master’s in Public Health). She works as a pediatrician at Children’s National Medical Center in D.C. with underserved populations. She works with a mobile clinic and is working to use her knowledge as a physician in a public policy setting. She has a wealth of knowledge on how to achieve your goals in the health care field and offers a unique insight on the value of a public health degree--after residency. Anyone looking to work with underserved populations will also benefit tremendously from her wisdom.
