Students and faculty members from the University of Maryland, College Park
and the University of Maryland, Baltimore, as well as community, state and
federal partners are invited to participate in the second annual Public
Health Research@Maryland event on April 8, 2014.

(http://sph.umd.edu/PHRM/postersession.html) (by March 23) when you register
to attend the free, day-long event, featuring a Grand Rounds keynote lecture
by former Surgeon General David Satcher on Building Leadership Teams to
Address Critical Needs in Public Health and a Grand Rounds special panel with
former Surgeon General Richard Carmona on the Future of Tobacco Control. The
Public Health Research@Maryland 2014 program also features expert panel
discussions that explore public health advances and challenges related to:
the Affordable Care Act, HIV/AIDS, cancer prevention and control, and the
role of physical activity in chronic disease prevention.
