*Pre-SOMA's First General Body Meeting: Lake Erie College of Osteopathic
Medicine Student Representative and OMT demonstration*


We are very excited to inform you that the first Pre-Student Osteopathic
Medical Association GBM of the semester is on *THURSDAY OCTOBER 3rd* at* **
5.30PM* in *3205** J**MZ* (Jimenez Hall)


We will be giving a brief introductory presentation about Pre-SOMA followed
by Nick from the Health Professions Advising Office (HPAO), who will give a
brief presentation on how to access resources, get involved, and
information on essential workshops and meetings for students of all years!


Following Nick's brief presentation, we will have Ms. Danielle Sarlo, a
current medical student at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine
(LECOM). She will be talking about her current experience at an osteopathic
medical school as well as her experience applying to medical school. This
is vital information for all student looking to apply in the future! Ms.
Sarlo will be assisted by Ms. Meghan Czajka to show an OMT (Osteopathic
Manipulative Treatment) demonstration, a hands-on treatment care used by
osteopathic physicians today! If you are interested in being a volunteer
patient please dress in long pants. This is a unique experience you do not
want to miss out on!
