Full time laboratory volunteer position available ASAP in Neuroscience research lab at USUHS in
Bethesda. The lab studies neuroplasticity and reorganization of the

NIH. Metro accessible (no parking available). Volunteer will assist with: immunohistochemistry and analysis,
histology of brain tissue, and microscopy.  Rising senior or graduate in Biology, Neuroscience, Physiology or related field required.  Expected hours would be 10am-6pm M-F with occasional brief weekend requirements (1-2hrs).  We are hoping to choose someone soon who can volunteer through the end of August or longer. Applicants with previous experience with the techniques listed above preferred, however training is available. Benefits of volunteering: learn valuable techniques, observe a variety of experiments, gain in-depth neuroscience knowledge.
