We will be looking for a part-time Medical Assistant/Administrative assistant
for the summer months (June-August). The Suburban Heart Institute is a
small cardiology clinic located in Riverdale, MD.  This is a good
opportunity for people interested in the medical field who want to gain
clinical experience.  While experience isn't necessary, we do want someone
with a medical background and interest.  You will be interacting with many
people, so strong people skills is a highly desired quality. Medical duties
include calibrating equipment, prepping and maintaining the exam rooms,
taking vitals, drawing blood, reporting and recording lab results, and
assisting the doctor. You will also be required to perform shared
administrative duties which include answering phone calls, filing charts,
faxing and calling in prescriptions, etc. The hours are Monday-Wednesday
