Subject: INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS SCHOLARSHIPS

Description:
Are you excited about pursuing a career in International Affairs and Policy?

The National Scholarships Office is hosting a presentation on several
outstanding scholarship programs (listed below) for sophomores, juniors, and
seniors with strong interests in pursuing careers in international affairs
– these programs focus on students with financial need, as well as students
from groups historically underrepresented in international affairs leadership
roles in government, nonprofits, international organizations and other
institutional settings. They provide generous scholarships for graduate
study, prestigious summer study programs, internships, and more. US
citizenship or permanent residency is required to apply for these programs.

Our speakers will be Patricia Scroggs, Director of the Rangel International
Affairs Program, and Erin Mann, Director of the Public Policy and
International Affairs Program. Mohammad Zia, a UMD senior who has
participated in both the Rangel Summer Enrichment Program and the PPIA Junior
Fellows Program will share his experiences as well.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 27 AT 4 PM IN THE MARYLAND ROOM, LOWER LEVEL OF MARIE MOUNT
HALL – Refreshments will be served
Please RSVP to [log in to unmask] if you plan to attend! If you are
interested but cannot attend, write to us at the same address.
