Subject: Volunteer Research Assistants Needed for Research Safari!

Description:
We are excited to be able to offer an opportunity for your students to take
part in our 7th annual Big Cat Research Project to be conducted during the
summer of 2016 in South Africa. Participants will be studying large cats; in
particular, lions, leopards, and cheetahs. The students will be in the field
daily assisting in collecting data on cat behavior, habitats, distribution
patterns, prey availability, and time and location of kills, as well as
filming and photographing these predators for a comprehensive photo ID
catalog. Colin Garland is the founder of the Global Classroom, a non-profit
organization dedicated to promoting wildlife conservation, earth stewardship
and personal growth by providing experiential fieldwork opportunities around
the globe.
