Subject: Career Shuttle: National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
(NOAA)

Description:
Friday, February 27, 2015 • 11:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Location: 3100 Hornbake Library, South Wing

Join the University Career Center & The President's Promise on a Career
Shuttle to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)!

This trip is open to all students and majors to be “introduced” to NOAA
and many of the areas one can work, intern, or volunteer within the
organization. Participants will hear from current employees about NOAA Corps
(uniformed science service), National Weather Service (NWS), Satellite and
Information Service (NESDIS), National Ocean Service (NOS), learn more about
NOAA Library Services and see NOAA’s Science on a Sphere.

Space is limited - please RSVP today and reserve 11:15 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. for
the site visit. Due to the limited space and the expected high demand for
this trip, we will be enforcing our "no show" policy. We need to get names
to NOAA the week before the trip, so contact Rachel Wobrak immediately (and
preferably before February 20, 2015) at [log in to unmask] if you register and
are unable to attend.

Please plan to meet in the lobby of the University Career Center & The
President's Promise (3100 Hornbake Library, South Wing) at 11:15 a.m. We
will depart promptly by bus at 11:30 a.m. and return to campus by 4:30 p.m.

Attire: Business Casual, no jeans.

MORE ABOUT NOAA

management, coastal restoration and supporting marine commerce, NOAA’s
products and services support economic vitality and affect more than
one-third of America’s gross domestic product. NOAA’s dedicated
scientists use cutting-edge research and high-tech instrumentation to provide
citizens, planners, emergency managers and other decision makers with
