Subject: Undergraduate Researchers Needed

Description:
I will be taking on undergraduate students interested in earning research
credit by assisting in a large-scale greenhouse experiment on the UMD campus.
Work will begin during the second week of January and continue through the
Spring 2013 semester. Tasks will include transplanting seedlings, watering
plants, labeling pots, and conducting hand-pollinations. In addition to
conducting novel research, we will meet periodically to discuss current
science related to the ecology and evolution of invasive species.

If you are interested in earning credit while gaining valuable research
experience, this is a great opportunity to expand both your resume and your
breadth as a student of the life sciences. Honors Scholars are encouraged to
apply.
