The Rhodes, Marshall, and Gates scholarships are among the best known and
most prestigious scholarship opportunities open to rising seniors, graduating
seniors and recent graduates of the University of Maryland, College Park.
Each provides full support for 1 or 2 years of graduate study in the UK.

ELIGIBILITY: Generally, you must be a US citizen; a current Junior,
graduating Senior, or recent grad; and have a GPA of 3.7 or higher. Permanent
residents may be eligible for Rhodes Scholarships. Other eligibility
requirements specific to the Rhodes, Marshall, and Gates programs are
detailed on their websites.

NOMINATION PROCESS: To apply for a Rhodes or Marshall scholarship you MUST be
nominated by the UK Post-Graduate Fellowships Committee of the University of
Maryland, College Park. Details of the nomination application requirements
are available from the National Scholarships Office.
