Subject: undergraduate research positions with the MEMS Sensors and Actuators
Laboratory
Description:
The MEMS Sensors and Actuators Laboratory (MSAL) at UMD is seeking
undergraduate students in bioengineering and other relevant science or
engineering majors (e.g. chbe, bchm, cs) for research positions with our
medical device team, beginning either Spring or Summer 2015. We are able to
offer two distinct research opportunities, one focused on applied research,
the other on signal processing.
As an undergraduate researcher in our lab, you will be directly involved in
team-based, cross-disciplinary research, and gain valuable hands-on
experience. You will be mentored by a principal graduate student and other
members of the lab. You will be expected to commit at least 6 hours/week to
this position and be interested in participating for at least one semester.
To learn more about the position, the research, and our lab, please see the
flyer at goo.gl/9BfuHL . If you are interested, email Thomas Winkler at
[log in to unmask] with your preferred research focus and starting semester, and
your résumé and unofficial transcript attached.
