Subject: College Park Crossroads 2013 Tour Stop: Clean Energy, Not Cove Point

Next week on November 19th, the SGA's Sustainability Committee and a local
nonprofit, the Chesapeake Climate Action Network (CCAN),  are partnering to
bring an exiting event to campus discussing the battle between clean and
dirty energy in the state of MD.

·  WHAT: "College Park Crossroads 2013 Tour Stop: Clean Energy, Not Cove
Point": The Chesapeake Climate Action Network (CCAN) is touring the state and
educating citizens about a destructive plan to build more dirty energy
infrastructure in MD, and letting them know how they can help stop it!
Knowing that UMD is a hub of passionate, intelligent and active students,
CCAN is partnering with the Student Government Association to bring the tour
to campus! The event will feature Senator Paul Pinsky, local musician Joe
Uehlein, environmental activist Mike Tidwell, and much more!
