Subject: Making a Good Impression – Etiquette Eating Before, During and
After

Description:
Making a Good Impression – Etiquette Eating Before, During and After
Step 3 of the 2015 Diversity Series – Bottom Line: A Diverse Workplace
Matters!

Did you know a job offer can be lost over how you talk and eat with a
prospective employer? As a UMD diverse, talented student do not let this be
the reason for your rejection.

Come learn to navigate a professional meal with key tips regarding not only
dinner place settings and utensil use, but also the art of dinner
conversation.

Our presenter, Sharon-Frances “Shances” Moore (UMD alum-history major),
is an etiquette coach with over 20 years of experience working with
government and corporate clients. A successful development executive at
Viacom/BET Networks, she knows what can be a deal breaker when it comes to
making a good impression.

On Thursday, March 5, 2015, the University Career Center & The President’s
Promise in sponsorship with Enterprise (formerly known as Enterprise
Rent-A-Car) will offer this special presentation and dinner. Seating is
limited. Hurry and RSVP now at
www.careers.umd.edu/events_description.cfm?event_id=5331!
This event is FREE!

(Note: Once you have reserved a space for dinner, if you “no show” your
student account will be charged $27 for the cost of the meal.)
