Want to get involved in the #BlackLivesMatter movement but not sure what YOU
can do or how you can make a real difference?

Come join us  this Thursday, March 12 in the Tyser Auditorium (Van Munching
Hall Room #1212) from 7:00-9:00pm to address the racial issues that plague
our society and the complex policies that enable it to continue. This will be
a panel discussion on the issue of race within the criminal justice system,
focusing on the role that policy has played in creating and perpetuating
racial disparities, and examining possible solutions. With panelists coming
from diverse backgrounds (policy, law, and organizing), the goal of the event
is to generate a discussion that will provide attendees with a clearer vision
of how they can become involved in advancing racial justice in our criminal
justice system. Attendees are encouraged to come prepared with questions.
