Subject: Career Shuttle: Smithsonian Environmental Research Center

Description:
This visit is open to all UMD students and alumni, but students interested in
the environmental topics and furthering their knowledge in a science
discipline are particularly encouraged to attend.  Information will be shared
about SERC research internships including projects in terrestrial,
atmospheric and estuarine environmental research within the disciplines of
ecology, biology, chemistry, microbiology, botany, zoology, mathematics,
geography, and physics. Projects are also offered in environmental education
