Attention CMNS Students: Seats still available in UMD’s Federal and Global
Semester Programs! Lots of great opportunities for STEM students!  APPLY
NOW—CMNS students of all majors & years (rising sophomore through senior)
are welcome!  Rolling admission!  We’d love to have you!

•	Take a fall-semester seminar course on a topic of contemporary concern
(including science diplomacy, health, energy, homeland security)--taught by
expert practitioners who bring in guest speakers (scientists, industry
experts, etc.)!
•	 Obtain a spring internship at sites ranging from federal (NOAA, NASA,
NIH, etc.) to NGOs (Genetic Alliance, etc.), White House OSTP, etc.
•	Take spring internship credit through our program or another program!
•	Earn transcript notation: become a Federal or Global Semester Fellow!
