Research Assistant Positions at the Comprehensive Assessment and Intervention

Description:
The Comprehensive Assessment and Intervention Program (CAIP), directed by Dr.
Andres De Los Reyes, conducts clinic-based research trying to understand the
best ways to assess and treat behavioral and emotional problems in children
and adolescents. The CAIP laboratory seeks to improve methods for assessing
adolescent social anxiety and family functioning. A key aim in CAIP’s
current research agenda involves creating software and mobile applications to
improve clinical decision-making and data analytics. This will include
development of a mobile app and possible other projects through existing
platforms (e.g., IBM Bluemix). Research Assistants will be working with other
members of the lab to analyze data and create representations of these data
(e.g., graphical depictions of numerical data). This research could be of
interest to students wishing to take on leadership roles on research projects
and collaborate one-on-one with faculty and staff at CAIP. We expect this
resume-building experience to help you: (a) learn more about Psychology as a
field and (b) understand the links between Psychology and other sciences. We
ultimately expect this experience to assist in your career advancement.

-	Be able to cooperate with other members of the staff
