Subject: Career Shuttle: Personal Genome Diagnostics

Description:
Join the University Career Center & The President's Promise on a Career
Shuttle to Personal Genome Diagnostics! This trip is open to all UMD
students, but will be of particular interest to students interested in
exploring career paths in cancer research.

Personal Genome Diagnostics (PGDx) is a provider of advanced technology
solutions based on Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and related technologies
for cancer genome analysis. Specialties include: Cancer Genetics, DNA-based
Cancer Diagnostics, Whole Exome Sequencing, Whole Genome Sequencing, Targeted
Cancer Gene Sequencing, Bioinformatics

The session will provide an overview with Lab Ops, Clinical Ops, R&D,
Analysis, a lab tour and time to hear from HR about openings and how to
apply.

Business casual attire is required (no jeans)
Space is limited - please RSVP today and reserve 12:30-5:15 p.m. for the site
visit. Due to the limited space and the expected high demand for this trip,

Once you have RSVP'd and received a confirmation email, please plan to meet
in the University Career Center & The President's Promise (3100 Hornbake
Library, South Wing) at 12:30 p.m. We will depart promptly by bus and return
to campus by 5:15 p.m. You will be asked to sign a waiver prior to departure
and you must be 18 years or older to consent.
