 Subject: Tutoring positions for BioFIRE Living and Learning Community

Description:
Apply to be a tutor for the BioFIRE Living and Learning program for fall
2015! The BioFIRE program (hhmi.umd.edu/biofire) is based in Easton Hall.
Students enroll in foundational coursework for the biological and chemical
sciences, as well as a series of courses that introduce them to authentic
scientific research.

Tutors assist undergraduate students with biology and/or chemistry
coursework, study skills, and confidence building. Tutors work a minimum of
two shifts a week, from 6-9 PM on Sunday-Thursday nights. Initial
compensation begins at $12/hour.

Interested students should submit a letter of interest, resume and transcript

May 6.
