Subject: Critical Language Scholarship - Application Advice Session

Description:
An official representative from the Critical Language Scholarship Program
will visit the University of Maryland to offer valuable advice on preparing a
competitive application, and to answer your questions – take advantage of
this special opportunity!

EVENT DAY/TIME/LOCATION: Tuesday, October 25 from 4 pm to 5 pm – 1310A
Marie Mount Hall (this is a lower-level room - follow the signs!)

ELIGIBILITY INFORMATION: Applicants must be: US Citizens; currently enrolled
freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors, or graduate students. A GPA of 3.4 or
higher recommended; all majors are eligible. PLEASE NOTE: CLS program in
Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Persian, and Russian require one or two years of
previous study of these languages ­ for details see:
