Subject: Participants Needed for Hopping Fatigue Study
Description:
The Neuromechanics Research Core is seeking physically active and healthy
participants for a hopping fatigue study.
Eligibility:
Healthy individuals over the age of 18 who do not have a history of lower
body injury, or neurological or orthopedic disorders.
Task:
Participants will perform max height jumps, single legged hopping to a
metronome, and single legged calf raises (15 sets of 10 reps). Your ground
reaction force (force plates), muscle activation (EMG), and body movement (3D
motion capture) will be recorded.
Time Commitment:
Testing will consist of a single 3 hour visit to the Neuromechanics Lab.
Compensation:
Participants will be compensated $50 for participation in the study.
