This Friday- Career Shuttle: Smithsonian Environmental Research Center

Join the University Career Center & The President's Promise on a Career
Shuttle to the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center.

This visit is open to all UMD students and alumni, but students interested in
the environmental topics and furthering their knowledge in a science
discipline are particularly encouraged to attend. Information will be shared
about SERC research internships. Read more about their ongoing related
projects here:

global change, landscape ecology and population and community ecology.

Agenda:
•          Welcome and introduction to the Center and internship
opportunities
•          Tours of weir and Global Climate Change research site
•          Tour and discussion of citizen science project on 100-year
forest study

8:45 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. for the site visit. Due to the limited space and the
