Subject: Paid Internships with Cisco, Technical Sales Engineer (Freshman,
Sophomore)

Description:
What You’ll Do

The Early in University Internship Program targets first and second year
students. This program exposes interns to meaningful work that directly
affects their team as well as provides the opportunity to work in groups to
solve customer challenges. Interns gain exposure to Cisco technology, sales
and the opportunity to network and learn from top engineering leaders.


As a Technical Sales Engineer Intern, you will be:
● Working with Engineering to diagnose and resolve critical issues.
● Programming script-based development tools.
● Programming in an embedded software environment

Who You Are

● First or second year student's pursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer
Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, MIS,
Mathematics, Physics, or other equivalent degree in a technical discipline is
required (an emphasis on software design practices preferred)
● Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher with excellent written and verbal
communication skills
● Passion for technology, creative thinker and problem solver
● Application centric skills

As a Sales Development Intern, you will:
● Gain a broad experience in various aspects of sales and consulting
● Work with Sales and various global teams and cultures on common goals and
issues
● Deliver on results and don’t be afraid to think outside of the box

Who You Are

●First or second year of studies toward a BS degree in Business, Sales,
Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance
or related area.
● Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher with excellent written and verbal
communication skills
● Passion for technology, creative thinker and problem solver
● Strong skills: Communication, research, influencing, leadership,
organization, adaptability, flexibility and highly self-motivated
● Detail oriented, resourceful, and able to prioritize under deadlines

● Demonstrate leadership and interpersonal skills, team work, ability to

sponsorship. (student visas or visas obtained on your own are not applicable
for the program.)
