Subject: International Internships Panel: Student Perspectives
Description:
This event is aimed at anyone who is interested in interning in a foreign
country. You will learn about options that exist through UMD and off campus,
and the benefits of international work experience. The panelists will also
share their experiences abroad.
The 4 panelists attending represent a wide range of majors and internship
destinations:
Jiahui Dong, Microbiology major, Research internship in China
Jaime Capron, Government and Politics major, Internship at U.S. Embassy in
Tanzania
Carrie Lewey, Agricultural Resource Economics major, Disabilities in Global
Context in Ghana
Colton Seigel, Government and Politics and French major, English Teaching
Internship (Learning Enterprises) in Mauritius
